Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: ON-SITE, Verona, WI
Sirius Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Expert to join our client's sourcing and purchasing operations. The Procurement Expert is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, services, and supplies from vendors and suppliers. This role focuses on securing favorable pricing, contract terms, and delivery conditions while ensuring quality, quantity, and timeliness requirements are consistently met. The position supports procurement operations across a broad range of categories and may oversee the full procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet organizational needs
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings and value
Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance to ensure compliance with agreements
Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Analyze purchasing trends and recommend process improvements
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and procurement standards
Resolve issues related to supplier performance, delivery, or quality
Support cross-functional teams with procurement expertise and guidance
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Support procurement efficiency and cost optimization initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BS) with 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, or Master’s degree (MS) with applicable experience
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Can handle a range of non-routine assignments
Working knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and sourcing strategies
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
