Overview
The MEP Manager oversees mechanical and electrical field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role leads MEP trade coordination, supports commissioning, and partners closely with project leadership to deliver high-quality commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage MEP field operations and subcontractor coordination
Lead 3D/BIM coordination and shutdown (MOP) planning
Support preconstruction, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
Assist with vendor startup, commissioning, and closeout documentation
Maintain quality control and support punch list completion
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and vendors
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10–15 years of MEP experience on large commercial projects preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
BIM 360 experience preferred
Work Environment
Onsite construction environment with physical activity required
Occasional local and domestic travel
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
