
MEP Construction Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support facility-focused commissioning at a data center site with a heavy emphasis on MEP systems, particularly HVAC. This role partners closely with senior construction leadership to manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, schedules, and project documentation across complex building systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the management of commercial and/or industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Support construction activities on the facilities side, including renovations, upgrades, and new system installations
Coordinate and oversee MEP trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), with a strong focus on HVAC systems
Review and track MEP drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Monitor project schedules, sequencing, and daily field activities to ensure milestones are met
Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, daily reports, punch lists, and communication
Support quality control, safety compliance, and site logistics
Participate in project meetings and assist with issue resolution in the field
Track progress, costs, and materials in coordination with the Construction Manager
Skills and Requirements
Background in construction management
Hands-on experience with MEP systems: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing
HVAC experience (installation, coordination, or oversight)
Proficiency with Procore construction management software
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong communication and coordination skills in a field-based environment
Familiarity with safety standards, inspections, and quality control processes
Experience working with multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously
Data center or mission-critical facility experience
