Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of data center technicians, providing guidance, training, and support
Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and storage systems
Monitor data center performance, ensuring uptime and reliability of all systems
Perform hardware troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
Manage rack and stack operations, cabling, and labeling standards
Coordinate with network, systems, and security teams to resolve incidents
Ensure compliance with data center best practices, safety protocols, and documentation standards
Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and tools
Support capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades
Respond to incidents, outages, and on‑call emergencies as needed
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a data center or similar technical environment
Proven experience working with servers, networking hardware, and structured cabling
Strong understanding of data center operations, including power, cooling, and redundancy
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Desirable Skills
Experience in a lead or supervisory role
Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switching, routing fundamentals)
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant vendor certifications
Working Setup
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Work in a data center environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
May require shift work, weekends, or on‑call availability
