Job Description
The University of Florida is looking for an Admissions Officer I to support prospective student engagement and enrollment for UF Online. In this role, you will serve as a frontline ambassador for UF Online, guiding students through the admissions process and helping them take the next step in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outreach to prospective UF Online students through phone calls (inbound/outbound call center), emails, text, and other communication channels.
Effectively oversee the prospective student pipeline to optimize enrollment outcomes.
Ensure compliance with university-wide policies, legislative statutes, and state regulations related to enrollment issues.
Record all student communication in the CRM system for documentation and analysis.
Recruitment and Engagement
Travel to and actively participate in recruitment events, including transfer and college fairs. Travel is typically during the day but is occasionally overnight. This involves the operation of a state vehicle.
Deliver in-person or virtual informational presentations and engage with prospective students, staff, and other stakeholders.
Engage with special populations and constituents to enhance student recruitment and networking opportunities.
Collaborate with campus partners to offer accurate and current information about UF Online's academic programs.
Other Duties
Perform additional duties as assigned.
$43,888 annually

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license is required.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Familiarity and skill managing email and using a CRM.
Ability to exercise good judgement.
