Responsibilities
This role rotates through general ledger responsibilities along with other team members. Key areas include:
Financial Reporting : Preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Accounting Applications : Apply US GAAP standards to produce accurate reporting.
Revenue Recognition
(ASC 606) ensuring correct methods.
Month‑End
journal entries and P&L review.
Balance Sheet GL Reconciliations .
Inventory Valuation
and GL monitoring.
Fixed Asset Management
via Asset Keeper.
Tax Reporting
for branches.
Commission & Bonus Maintenance .
Payroll‑Related Liabilities
reconciliation.
Deposits & Prepaid Maintenance .
Attendance
and policy implementation.
People & Training
Assist and guide shared service team members in GL concepts and basic SQL/Excel skills.
Promote strong teamwork and communication.
Lead discussions on accounting policies across departments.
Technology
SQL fundamentals: join views, data disaggregation.
Intermediate to advanced Excel.
Subject‑matter expertise in relevant areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
Two+ years of GL/accounting experience or equivalent education and experience.
