We are looking for a
full-time Hospice RN
to join our team in the Northern San Luis Obispo area (Atascadero, Templeton, Paso Robles).
The nurse plans, organizes, and directs hospice care while building community resources to plan and direct services to meet the needs of the patient and their families within their homes and communities. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family choice, assure continuity of care, and enhance the quality of life of dying patients.
Work Schedule: regular work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with a choice between a 4 or 5 day work week and rotating weekends (8 AM–5 PM).
No night call!
Requirements
Current California RN license
CPR certified (American Heart Association)
Must have one year of professional nursing work experience
Reliable vehicle to drive for work
Current driver’s license and clean driving record
Have and maintain auto insurance coverage
Home Health, Hospice, OR and/or ER experience preferred but not required
Understands "hospice philosophy" and issues of death and dying
