A health services network in Brooklyn, New York is actively seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, handling psychiatric evaluation and medication management in a high-volume Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic setting.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time
Hours:
4 ten-hour days or flexible options
Setting:
Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic (Hybrid with telehealth options available)
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of 200-225 clients monthly
Providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Treating co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders
Delivering care via telehealth and in-person
Maintaining compliant documentation for Medicaid and Medicare
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in outpatient behavioral health
Master's Degree
Licensed PMHNP in NY
Active DEA license
Experience with dual diagnosis and MAT
Experience working with children/adolescents
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Clinically confident and comfortable guiding peers
Mission-driven and adaptable
Experience with Underserved populations
Experience with NYS regulations (OMH 599 and OASAS 822)
Experience prescribing Buprenorphine and Naltrexone
