We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Electrical Engineer
to join our team at K&A Engineering in

Conduct Distributed Energy Resources (DER) integration studies on existing utility/power systems infrastructure.
Perform power system load flow, stability and transient studies, voltage impact, harmonic reviews, and power system dynamic model development.
Perform equipment loading, voltage flicker, short circuit analysis, protection coordination, inrush analysis, contingency analysis, and unintentional islanding risk assessment.
Propose optimal mitigation methods and calculate cost estimation for necessary infrastructure upgrades associated with distribution and transmission level projects. Produce detailed, concise, analytical reports and cost estimate documentation.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and one (1) year of electrical engineering experience in conducting DER integration studies, including experience using power systems analysis tools (CYME, Synergi, Windmill, DEW, PVL, and PSSE software).
Pay Range:
$75,670 — $78,000
