
Multi-Site EHS Manager II

We’re seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead our Global WHS Program implementation, protect our people, and drive operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
As a WHS Manager, you will serve as the site’s safety champion and lead the implementation of the Global WHS Program. Your role bridges safety requirements with operational success, requiring technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to inform decision‑making.
Lead site audits, analyze incident trends, and target continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage the first aid program and emergency response capabilities to ensure immediate care.
Transform safety data into actionable insights and engage associates in the safety culture.
Collaborate with Operations leadership to integrate safety into all business processes.
Oversee recordkeeping, workplace organization, and WHS training programs.
Additional Job Elements
Travel 50-70% of the time and work various shifts.
Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas.
Continuously climb and descend stairs (applicable to sites with stairs).
Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site.
For candidates without adult First Aid, CPR, or AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, certification must be obtained within three weeks of the start date.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Distribution Center or manufacturing safety experience with a mix of exempt and non‑exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience in a fast‑paced, changing/growing organization.
Certified Safety Professional preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with site leaders.
Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem‑solving ability.
Ability to adapt well to fast‑paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, pivot tables, charts, and graphics.
Ability to manage multiple sites remotely.

Salary ranges: USA, CA, Orland: $70,400.00 – $94,600.00 USD annually; USA, OR, Central Point: $63,000.00 – $94,600.00 USD annually.
