Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead our safety program and drive a culture of safety excellence across all operations. The role involves working closely with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily activities, using data-driven insights to reduce risk and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities

Serve as the site’s safety facilitator and orchestrate the Global WHS Program.
Partner with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations and influence strategic decision‑making.
Lead comprehensive risk assessments and transform safety data into actionable strategies.
Build and develop a high‑performing team of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Measure performance against WHS policies, analyze metrics, and conduct site audits to address non‑compliance.
Oversee recordkeeping, workplace organization, and WHS training programs.
Additional Job Elements

Lift up to 49 pounds and perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in environments with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions.
Continuously climb and descend stairs (as applicable).
Maintain effective care during emergencies and assist with emergency response at the site.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing WHS setting with at least 250 employees.
Master’s degree.
Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic organization.
Certified Safety Professional.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and implement departmental goals and strategies.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
