Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to join our mission of creating the world's safest work environment. As a WHS Manager, you will serve as the site’s safety champion, leading Global WHS Program implementation while combining hands‑on safety management with strategic thinking. You’ll work closely with Operations leadership to drive safety initiatives that protect associates, support productivity, and shape the safety culture across our operations.

Strategic Partnership & Influence – Build partnerships with Operations leadership to integrate safety into every aspect of the business, using compelling data analysis and risk insights to influence positive change and strategic decision‑making.
Travel & Work Schedule
This position requires the flexibility to travel 50‑70% of the time and work various shifts.
Additional Job Elements
Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments).
Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs).
Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site.
For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Distribution Center or manufacturing safety experience with a mix of exempt and non‑exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people.
Master’s degree.
Experience in a fast‑paced, changing/growing organization.
Certified Safety Professional.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with site leaders.
Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem‑solving ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, pivot tables, and development of charts and graphics.
Ability to manage multiple sites/remotely.

Benefits & Compensation
Base salary range: $63,000.00 – $94,600.00 USD annually, depending on location. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. The package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
