JOB SUMMARY
The Code Enforcement Specialist will serve as a liaison between Tribal entities, Snohomish County government, and property owners of non-compliant properties. This role will lead regular one-on-one check-ins with property owners to foster open dialogue, collaborative problem‑solving, and shared planning toward compliance. The Specialist will also coordinate and facilitate weekly field coordination meetings that convene relevant Tribal and County stakeholders, including partners within Snohomish County and the Tulalip Tribes. This position requires the ability to balance culturally sensitive considerations with regulatory requirements, often navigating differing perspectives. Success in this role will depend on strong facilitation skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to support constructive outcomes among stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
COMPENSATION
$25.31
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of experience maintaining case file records.
Two (2) years of experience working in an office environment handling confidential information and documentation.
One (1) year of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
One (1) year of experience working for a city or county investigating and/or enforcing codes preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
WA State Driver License.

Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation.
(Abstract Required)
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
