Job Title: Travel RN Medical / Surgical
Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Responsibilities
Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
Practice independently while managing clinical contingencies and patient care situations
Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on care plans and health management
Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with other healthcare providers
Meet Client's competency standards (Leader of Self, Leader of Others, Leader of Leaders)
Requirements
RN License in state of employment or compact
BLS certification from AHA required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty (preferred)
Preferences
Experience in Med/Surg setting
Ability to handle complex clinical situations independently
