Role Summary
Pfizer is seeking a Senior Director, Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) supporting a significant portfolio of products in Migraine, IM and Antivirals. The role leads a high‑functioning team of strategy & insights specialists to drive commercial brand strategy, frame business problems and enable executional excellence. The Senior Director acts as a key thought partner to senior US & Global franchise leads, participating in leadership teams, and leveraging analyses to influence portfolio decisions and overall strategy.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic thought partnership to Migraine, IM and Antiviral leads to drive investment decisions.

Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics.

Lead the collection of information needs and development of research and data analysis plans.

Develop and execute a knowledge base to drive patient and HCP insights.

Connect research and analytics to tell a persuasive story and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Lead a team that develops and monitors key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of a brand’s promotional activities.

Recommend campaign improvement and corrective actions.

Integrate campaign insights with broader analytic activities to inform resource allocation decisions and provide a full picture of marketing execution and customer behavior.

Assist in advancing the vision for the future direction of brand activities.

Oversee development of Long‑Range Forecasts (LRFs) and Operating Plans.

Drive the creation of best‑in‑class AI, epi‑and trend‑based forecast models in partnership with CoE colleagues.

Review and enhance forecasts or strategic brand plans, quantifying business opportunities and communicating results to senior leadership.

Ensure accurate performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership, articulating data and its business meaning.

Lead dialogue to integrate insights across GCA cross‑functional teams – Data Science, Performance Analytics, etc.

Contribute to advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership and knowledge sharing.

Align with other analytic teams to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field; MS or MBA preferred.

12+ years in consulting or market analytics.

7+ years at a high‑value level (US & Global) developing data‑driven brand strategy for major portfolios ($>3B).

Knowledge of vaccine space with fluency in vaccine data.

Forecasting experience.

Experience leading teams.

Proven ability to synthesize complex data and analyses and communicate effectively.

Strong entrepreneurial drive, thrives on intellectual challenge, raises quality standards.

Defined involvement in framing, designing & executing solutions for challenging business situations.

In‑depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, including primary and secondary data, and ability to derive timely, high‑quality insights.

Team‑orientation and collaborative approach; outstanding listening skills and ability to manage through influence.

Exceptional intellectual & analytical curiosity, creative visionary driving innovation.

Sophisticated executive demeanor; excellent presentation skills, strong verbal and writing capabilities.

Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing.

Location & Compensation
Work Location Assignment: Hybrid (New York, New York City). Salary range: $214,900–$358,100 annually, with bonus and equity plans. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.
