Superior Soil seeks an Equipment Manager in Hanford, CA. Lead maintenance for our heavy machinery and truck fleet. Requires 5+ years of experience and 1+ in leadership. You will ensure safety, manage budgets, and keep our ag‑production moving. Join our team and grow with us!
Compensation
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
Shift: First
Work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM
Education: No degree required
Responsibilities
Manage the maintenance and repair of all mobile equipment, heavy machinery, and production equipment (e.g., mixing equipment, screening plants, trucks).
Implement and oversee a strict preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime.
Manage equipment parts inventory, tools, and procurement of new or used machinery.
Ensure all machinery and vehicles meet safety standards and regulations (e.g., inspections, safety protocols).
Supervise, train, and develop maintenance personnel.
Track equipment costs, manage maintenance budgets, and manage vendor/service contracts.
Essential Functions
Working in a smoke‑free environment.
Wearing steel‑toe shoes.
Working in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
Working up to 4 hours of overtime per week.
Working weekends.
