Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled
Receptionist
to support front desk operations by greeting patients, managing intake processes, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of patient information.
Essential Duties
Greet and assist patients in a professional, courteous manner at the front desk
Accurately update existing patient records and create new profiles in the system
Input and verify patient demographic, insurance, and medical information without error
Prepare and distribute required documentation, including forms for patient signatures
Enter detailed notes during patient check-in and confirm accuracy of information
Ensure timely processing of patient check-ins to avoid delays in care delivery
Verify insurance eligibility and review referrals and account details
Maintain and update patient schedules, including cancellations and no-shows
Answer incoming calls professionally and assist with general inquiries
Manage and distribute incoming faxes and documentation promptly
Operate office equipment including computers, scanners, copiers, and phone systems
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff as needed
Maintain organized records and ensure proper handling of patient files
Follow all company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements / Skills
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of administrative or customer service experience preferred
Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience required
Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor with strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday
Frequent use of hands for typing, filing, and handling documents
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
Capability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Ability to work in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions
Visual and auditory ability to interact with patients and staff effectively
