IT Systems Administrator
A Republican organization located on Capitol Hill is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to support and maintain our fast‑paced office technology environment. This role combines hands‑on user support with systems and network administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day technical support for staff across hardware, software, and network issues
Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive)
Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies via Entra ID (Azure AD)
Support and maintain Windows 11, macOS, and iOS devices
Configure and manage endpoint devices using modern device management tools (Intune, JAMF, PDQ Deploy/Inventory)
Administer VoIP and unified communications systems (Cisco preferred)
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain network reliability
Implement and support security best practices, including MFA and endpoint protection
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
Qualifications
Experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
Proficiency supporting Windows and macOS environments
Experience with mobile device management (iOS/Android)
Familiarity with Cisco VoIP systems (CUCM preferred)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf, or similar) preferred
Exposure to security tools and best practices is a plus
