About the Role
We are currently seeking an Agile Coach to join a dynamic team cracking the government’s most exhilarating data puzzles. The Agile Coach will facilitate agile processes, promote collaboration, and remove obstacles to ensure efficient and successful project delivery while executing mission‑critical work.

Responsibilities

Apply functional and technical knowledge to achieve scrum goals, contributing to solutions for moderate scope and complex problems.

Facilitate scrum events, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and communication between team members and stakeholders.

Guide and coach the team on Agile principles, practices, and ceremonies to foster continuous improvement.

Assist the Product Owner in refining and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure it is well‑groomed and ready for upcoming sprints.

Identify and address impediments and roadblocks that hinder team progress and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.

Continuously improve the team’s processes and practices by implementing agile techniques and suggesting adaptations as needed.

Support a culture of transparency, collaboration, and open communication among team members and stakeholders.

Lead change and excel in managing stakeholders to recalibrate expectations as needed.

You Have

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager, including managing projects, processes, and teams delivering web‑based systems.

2+ years of experience with Jira product administration and Jira Service Desk configuration, maintaining and supporting workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and screen schemes.

Experience with Atlassian Jira, Agile at Scale (e.g., SAFe or DAD), cloud computing, and DoD security requirements.

Experience in Jira service desk administration, customizations, mapping, and automating complex workflows for role‑based access control.

Experience writing custom conditions, validations, and post‑functions using ScriptRunner for Jira and Automation for Jira.

Experience managing a technical product portfolio, leading a technical team of 20+ staff, and creating and delivering client briefings and status reports.

Knowledge of Jira Query Language (JQL), including dynamic dashboards and reporting.

Secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree.

Scrum Master Certification.

Nice If You Have

Experience with the DoD or IC.

Experience with large‑scale programs worth over $1 million annually for government clients.

Experience with Advana.

Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills.

PMP, Agile Coaching, and AWS Certification preferred.

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
