Veterinary Care Coordinator (Part-time)
PetVet Care Centers' Southwind Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Veterinary Care Coordinator (Part-time) to join their team.

Position Overview
The Care Coordinator contributes to the success of a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. They perform a range of administrative and customer‑service tasks to support the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
A minimum of 1–2 years of veterinary office experience.
Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance.
Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities.
Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Physical capability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds.
Schedule
Part‑time, 2–4 shifts per week with every other Saturday.
Hospital hours: Monday–Friday 7 am–6 pm, Saturday 7:30 am–2 pm. Shifts will be during these days and hours.
