The hourly range for this role, based in Fort Worth, Texas is $15.25 to $20.90. Rates will vary if outside of this location. Hourly rates are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary
To operate assigned bottling equipment, make caps, and any other duty needed for the Bottling operation. To assure consistent product quality, minimize waste, maintain a safe and clean work environment and maximize equipment effectiveness. This is a safety sensitive role.

Responsibilities

Safely operate one or more of the following machines or a combination of machines: depalletizer, unloader, cleaner, filler, capper, labeler, lot coder, case packer, case coder, and palletizer

Tag and report all equipment defects on machinery and assist with repairs as needed

Make the specialized TX Whiskey leather top caps

Perform on-line quality checks as specified in work instructions. Help maintain inventory counts and depletions as needed

Perform machines and line changeovers for different bottles, packaging and liquids

Ensure machine functions correctly at budgeted efficiency once the changeover is complete

Observe good manufacturing practices and good housekeeping and follow all safety rules as required

Accurately fill out all quality documents relative to each machine center.

Work in and around moving machinery and moving vehicles

Repair substandard packages. This may include: Relabeling bottles, restacking boxes on pallets

Cleaning of machinery to maintain optimum machine performance. This may include using tools to scrape, wipe, sweep, and squeegee

Loading equipment with packaging supplies. This may include lifting overhead, regularly lifting to 50 lbs

Wear all safety equipment, like eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes, bump caps, etc., as required

Any other work as assigned

Requirements

High School or equivalent is preferred

Lift and carry 50 lbs

Ability to perform repetitive work actions

Manufacturing/Mechanical experience preferred

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills

Good oral and written communication skills
