At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for planning and managing the overall business relationship with both legacy and new Loan Program Sponsors and their networks of contractors, maximizing the volume and quality of loans closed through those programs consistent with their true market potential. The RM builds productive long‑term relationships based on mutually beneficial strategic objectives and ensures ongoing alignment.

Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home‑improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point‑of‑Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefiting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.

Primary Responsibilities

Maximize the volume and quality of loans closed through assigned programs consistent with their true market potential and pre‑determined goals.

Develop annual relationship management plans for each assigned program, including a detailed program enhancement plan with specific quantifiable objectives regarding market potential and new loan volume.

Implement approved plans, track performance, and routinely discuss results with the VP/Program Sponsor Division Manager and Loan Program Sponsors.

Develop an annual state of the relationship letter approved by the VP/Program Sponsor Division Assistant Manager for each assigned program and meet with each Loan Program Sponsor to present it and gain buy‑in.

Employ client‑focused selling (client engagement) every day and continuously improve this competency.

Understand Loan Program Sponsor strategic objectives and communicate the same within the bank to achieve best service results.

Serve as the primary contact with the Loan Program Sponsor at the relationship level.

Maintain an active calling program with assigned Loan Program Sponsors at senior management, sales, and operations levels.

Implement new program launch plan with assigned new Loan Program Sponsor and monitor results.

Maintain client files in CRM, including contact information, correspondence, relationship development plan, pre‑call plans, call reports, projections of the opportunity and program loan volume, and other documents or information useful to managing the relationship.

Participate as a public speaker at Loan Program Sponsor meetings and conferences.

Facilitate the annual credit approval and review process for Loan Program Sponsors as set forth in the Credit Policy and Procedures.

Establish appropriate contacts for Loan Program Sponsor with bank administrative staff.

Maintain the highest level of Program Sponsor and contractor satisfaction through coordination of issue resolution with the VP/Program Sponsor Division Assistant Manager.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and three (3) years of experience in business‑to‑business sales and client relationship management with large accounts.

Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in business‑to‑business sales and client relationship management with large accounts.

High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience in business‑to‑business sales and client relationship management with large accounts.

Demonstrated results acquiring new business and exceeding production sales goals.

Willing and able to travel.

Preferences

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

Target information is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position location and level of the position.

Job Range Target

Minimum:

$63,841.80 USD

50th Percentile:

$100,790.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
