Payroll/Accounting Specialist
— Pay $60-65k — Onsite in Westerville, OH.
Payroll & Benefits
Processing payroll for all of employees, non-union, all in Ohio.
Process accurate and timely payroll
Approximately
60% salaried / 40% hourly
No commission calculations required (only data entry)
Add new hires and enter proper tax information
Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and changes
Manage employee benefits
Add / remove employees from benefit plans (terminations & new enrollments)
Manage benefit changes
Maintain knowledge of tax laws and payroll compliance
Accounting Support
Post payroll to the general ledger
Reconcile payroll liability GL accounts monthly
Prepare journal entries related to payroll and benefits
Process and reimburse payables related to company properties
May touch the accounting system as needed for reporting or entries
