About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Senior Debt team, with a primary focus on investing in first lien senior secured loans to support sponsor-led buyouts. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of senior secured loans, including first lien, unitranche, and in some cases, junior debt facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of credit, both in the underwriting and portfolio monitoring process, and the ability to manage multiple live transactions with a high level of attention to detail.

Applicants for the Vice President position should have 6-8+ years of experience in investment banking, direct lending, structured credit, or a similar field, with a preference for those with experience in sponsor-backed direct lending. The role involves underwriting lead opportunities, managing a portfolio of senior debt investments, and overseeing the structuring and negotiation of legal documentation. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial modeling, providing direction to junior team members, and interfacing with sponsors. The ability to generate detailed summaries and presentations, as well as to update senior team members on the activity of a large portfolio, is also essential.
