A CRE is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable
HR & Payroll Administrator
to support our day‑to‑day human resources operations while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This role is essential in maintaining employee records, supporting compliance, and delivering a smooth, professional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
Process bi‑weekly or semi‑monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain payroll records including wages, deductions, and benefits
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Partner with accounting/finance for reporting and audits
Human Resources
Maintain and update employee records within HRIS systems
Support onboarding and offboarding processes (offer letters, new hire setup, terminations)
Administer employee benefits including enrollments and changes
Assist with performance management and employee engagement initiatives
Support HR policy updates and ensure compliance with labor laws
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies
Prepare HR and payroll reports (headcount, turnover, payroll summaries)
Support internal and external audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in HR and/or payroll administration
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor laws
Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, UKG, or similar)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
