Teaching, advising, and service. Perform administrative tasks as directed by the department chair.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in criminal justice in a face‑to‑face setting.
Advise and mentor students in academic and career matters.
Engage in service activities within the department and the broader university community.
Assist with administrative duties as assigned by the department chair.
Qualifications
Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in criminology or criminal justice, or a Ph.D. in criminology or criminal justice.
ABD candidates in criminology or criminal justice are considered.
All earned degrees must come from regionally accredited colleges or universities.
Minimum of three years of full‑time, in‑class teaching experience at a regionally accredited college or university.
Online teaching experience is also desired.
Background Check
This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check, which includes a criminal background check, employment verification, reference checks, license verification (if applicable), and credit history check (if applicable). All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
