Electro Mechanical Technicians focus on maintaining and improving equipment, ensuring uptime, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pneumatics, and conveyors.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems: motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
Troubleshoot automated equipment including sensors, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control diagrams.
Assist with PLC troubleshooting; basic PLC programming experience preferred.
Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment.
Document maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of industrial automation and machine control systems.
Understanding of PLC-controlled equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
