Overview
CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, and program management and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally. CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.

This position will be responsible for both preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance work and minimal installations with our client.

Responsibilities

Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.

Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.

Conducts daily activities like drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, repair and installation of Drain Waste and Vent (DWV), installing toilets, water lines, P-Traps, repair of water leaks, repair/replacement of valves, faucets, sinks, etc.

Completes all documentation required in compliance with CGL's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.

Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Maintenance, OSHA, and our clients.

Maintains a clean and safe workplace while and after performing grounds keeping tasks.

Provides training technicians in unlike skillset some basics of your trade provide mentorship, oversight and direction.

Requires driving for the Company using either a Company vehicle or a Personal/Rental vehicle for at least 50% of the time.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of preventive and corrective maintenance experience in plumbing for commercial environments.

Self-starter and motivated.

Ability to work in confined spaces and night shifts; availability to be on call when needed.

Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, team player.

Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality.

Valid driver's license in the state (DL Number).

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and physical abilities test/motor vehicle record check.

Compensation
The hiring range for this position is generally between $27.00 and $35.00 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience.
