Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nurse (Night Shift)

Weekly Estimated Pay:

$1,460 - $1,540

Location:

Kingwood, TX 77339 (North Houston area)

Setting:

Emergency Department (28-bed ER)

Contract Duration:

13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026)

Shift:

12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week:

36

Weekend Requirement:

4 weekend shifts per month

Dress Code:

Royal Blue Scrubs

Required Qualifications (Emergency Department Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of acute Emergency Room nursing experience (ER RN / Emergency Department Nurse)

Active RN license: Texas RN or compact state license accepted

Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS (required)

Strong clinical skills: IV starts, blood draws, EKG interpretation, adult & pediatric resuscitation

Trauma nursing experience preferred (trauma nurse background helpful for busy ER)

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Key Responsibilities (ER RN – Night Shift)

Provide high-quality, timely care for emergency patients in a fast-paced 28-bed ER

Triage and assess patients, prioritize care, and stabilize critically ill or injured patients

Perform ER procedures: IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, airway management, and resuscitation

Manage typical ER patient ratios of approximately 4:1

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including RNs, techs, physicians, and unit secretaries

Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR (electronic medical record)

Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and professional standards expected of emergency department nurses
