Job Details:
13-week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, days shift
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment and modalities
Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management techniques
Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy
Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home-based settings
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Required Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in physical therapy
Physical Therapy experience; new grads are welcome to apply
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; proficient in PC skills
Physical Abilities
- Able to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend

- Able to work effectively with a variety of personnel
Technical/Motor Skills
- Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using equipment
Mental Requirements
- Capable of handling frequent public interaction and meeting deadlines; able to work under variable supervision and schedules
Sensory
- Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
