Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a 420-bed teaching hospital, trauma center, neonatal intensive care unit, geriatrics center, and home to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the only adult burn trauma center in Maryland.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging helps to diagnose and care for patients with the following common conditions: Heart Failure, Heart Valve Disease, and Aneurysm.

Responsibilities

Perform an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies (Transthoracic, exercise, pharmacologic stress echocardiograms, etc.)

Provide education and clinical instruction to cardiac sonography students and cardiology fellows

Access and correlate patient medical history and provide proper documentation

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEPP) – accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program

BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCS) by Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI)

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred but not required

Two (2) years of cardiac experience in a hospital setting

Shift
PRN (as needed)

Day Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm and 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with some Saturday coverage.

Salary Range
Minimum $57.00 /hour – Maximum $57.00 /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
