Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team in a sought‑out, beautiful destination. Position can be seasonal or long‑term. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well‑being. This role requires a strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver tailored treatments that meet individual client needs. The Massage Therapist will create a welcoming environment focused on exceptional patient service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients’ specific concerns.

Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health history and current condition.

Provide pain management solutions through targeted massage therapies, ensuring client comfort and safety throughout each session.

Educate clients on post‑treatment care and recommend exercises or lifestyle adjustments as needed.

Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, client progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.

Uphold occupational health standards by maintaining a clean, sanitized workspace and adhering to safety protocols.

Stay informed about advancements in massage therapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development, including med spa practices if applicable.

Requirements

Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and patient assessment.

Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations.

Proficiency in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.

Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.

Ability to assess client needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual conditions.

Experience with pain management strategies and occupational health standards preferred.

Prior med spa experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with aesthetic or wellness treatments beyond traditional massage therapy.

Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Type: Part‑time

Pay: $35.31 - $66.53 per hour
