Construction Project Manager - Mission Critical Projects
We're partnering with a top‑tier, employee‑owned EPC firm to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager to support complex, high‑profile mission‑critical projects across the U.S.

This role supports EPC Project and Program Managers and plays a hands‑on leadership role from pre‑construction through closeout and warranty, with full responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, cost, and field execution.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead day‑to‑day construction execution on one or multiple projects simultaneously

Own construction safety, quality assurance, schedule, cost control, and risk management

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, contracts, change orders, and field staff

Drive project planning, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting

Interface directly with clients and help develop long‑term client relationships

Oversee bid packages, RFPs, subcontractor pre‑qualification, negotiations, and awards

Implement project execution plans, safety & health plans, QA/QC, staffing and procurement plans

Collaborate closely with engineering and procurement teams to align deliverables

Oversee RFIs, submittals, change management, claims mitigation, and contract closeout

Lead commissioning, startup coordination, turnover documentation, and warranty administration

Mentor field leadership, assistant PMs, coordinators, and craft supervision

Manage labor planning, staffing, crew rates, earned value, productivity, and cost metrics

Represent the project with clients, authorities, building trades, and community stakeholders

Projects span mission‑critical and complex infrastructure sectors, including data centers, energy, manufacturing, transportation, and government work.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

7+ years of construction project management experience

Strong background in EPC or construction management environments

Proven experience managing safety, schedule, cost, contracts, and subcontractorsComfortable operating on live project sites and fast‑paced programs

Strong communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills

Working knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and project management software

Understanding of basic GAAP principles

Ability to travel or be site‑based depending on project needs
