About the Role
We are hiring a seasoned Paralegal to support attorneys in a busy practice. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a high-volume legal environment, manages shifting deadlines with ease, and brings strong organizational and communication skills to every matter. Daily interaction with clients, attorneys, and court staff is an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for case preparation.
Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with precision.
Maintain and update legal databases and case management systems.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits and evidence.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.
Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach to work.
