Accountant II

Responsibilities
Prepare for audits and file audit reports.
Utilize and troubleshoot the GUAS system.
Reimburse employees, invoice vendors, and report/track expenses.
Oversee lease management, corporate card management, voucher entry, and vendor registration.
Monitor accounts payable, prepare journal entries, and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and develop annual/mid‑year budgets.
Track and reconcile receivables and manage fixed asset accounting.
Report asset utilization and audit results.
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, and non‑compliance.
Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare corporate income tax returns and tax credits in collaboration with tax professionals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 2 years of industry experience with financial statements, general ledgers, tax filings, regulatory compliance reports, and accounting principles.
Experience with month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ICFR testing, budgeting and forecasting.
Proficiency in SAP.
