Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire
Elkhorn, WI
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM), Monday–Friday (TBD). Training on 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) for first few weeks.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
3–5 years of CNC maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required.
Experience with CNC equipment and controls preferred.
Computer skills and forklift certification.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and related equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, auxiliary systems).
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and servo issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
Calibrate and align components to maintain precision, ensure compliance with safety standards (including LOTO), and track maintenance activity.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve recurring issues and support equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Apply troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
Use CNC equipment and control systems (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens preferred).
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Experience with PLC systems and electrical diagnostics.
Basic welding and fabrication skills.
Proficient with precision measuring tools.
Effective communication; work independently or on a team.
