Job Title: Maintenance Technician
This entry‑level maintenance technician role is centered around equipment operation. The role requires basic electrical, mechanical, and fundamental hydraulic experience. The primary focus will be on operating forklift equipment and skid steers, making those skills essential.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, clamp lifts, ski steers, and standard sit‑down forklifts efficiently.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and minor electrical issues.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Support production teams and maintenance staff to minimize downtime of bailor equipment.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on bailors and other equipment.
Essential Skills
Basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic experience.
Proficiency in forklift and skid steer operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with clamp lifts and preventive maintenance.
Hydraulic knowledge and ability to maintain and repair bailor equipment are preferred.

Work in a recycling facility during the 1st shift from 7am‑4pm, with some Saturdays required. The facility is non‑climate controlled and may be dirty and dusty with paper and box shreds present.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr.
