Job Overview
This position is a remote role supporting the East Coast Client Accounting.

Approximate salary Range for this Role $45,412 - $55,000.

About You
A Junior Property Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of property management, including assisting with accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for properties.

Process accounts payable and receivable related to property operations.

Reconcile bank statements and property accounts.

Maintain and update tenant ledgers, rent rolls, and other property-related financial records.

Support the Property Accountant and management team with ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting for properties.

Communicate with property managers, tenants, and vendors regarding financial matters.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 1 year of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
