Job Description
The Psychiatric Intervention nurse develops advanced assessment skills and knowledge of a complex health system to help psychiatric patients obtain the care they need. The Psychiatric Intervention nurse cares for patients with behavioral health illnesses in an acute care setting. Responsible to conduct intake interviews, assess, and evaluate the patient. The Psychiatric Intervention nurse acts as a resource to the health care system for psychiatric needs.

$15,000.00 Sign on Bonus

80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off

Up to $4,000.00 Relocation bonus

$1.00 Certification pay

$1.00 BSN pay

Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000.00

Education

Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

Preferred: Previous psychiatric nursing experience

Skills

Highly organized and have the ability to work with a variety of patients in a fast-paced environment

Have a strong focus on teamwork, and have the ability to build collaborative relationships

Very customer friendly

Incorporate ongoing education in everyday practice

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
