
Training Specialist

In this role, you will manage and support the development and delivery of corporate training and workforce development programs. Key responsibilities include:
Leading training program activities across the full lifecycle, including:
Conducting needs assessments and defining learning objectives
Designing and developing training content and curriculum
Coordinating pilot programs, implementation, and evaluation
Measuring training effectiveness and recommending improvements
Collaborating with HR, leadership, SMEs, and vendors to support enterprise workforce development initiatives
Delivering blended learning solutions using modern instructional design tools and technologies
Supporting operational and logistical aspects of training delivery, including scheduling and course coordination
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
Coordinate end-to-end training program delivery from concept through evaluation
Schedule courses and manage training calendars to ensure adequate participation
Build and maintain relationships with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and external vendors
Provide on‑site or virtual support during training sessions, including troubleshooting and facilitation support
Prepare, organize, and maintain course materials in compliance with corporate and security standards
Develop and update training content using tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, and related software
Analyze training effectiveness using participant feedback and performance data; recommend enhancements
Support webinars, classroom sessions, and virtual learning environments using appropriate technology
Provide administrative and logistical support to organizational effectiveness (OE) training initiatives
Promote training programs and ensure sufficient enrollment through internal communications
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance training efficiency and effectiveness
Stay current with industry trends, instructional technologies, and best practices
Mentor and support other team members in training processes and procedures
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical and non‑technical content
Strong organizational and project coordination abilities
Experience managing multiple training programs simultaneously
Proficiency in eLearning development tools (Adobe Suite, Articulate, Captivate, etc.)
Ability to analyze feedback and data to improve training outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Experience supporting both in‑person and virtual learning environments
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance standards
Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage vendor relationships
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience developing and/or delivering training programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with blended learning and eLearning development tools (e.g., Adobe, Articulate Suite)
Experience supporting corporate workforce development initiatives
Familiarity with web conferencing and virtual training platforms
