Media Buyer/Planner
Epicosity LLC, Sioux Falls, SD, United States
We're Hiring: Media Buyer/Planner | Epicosity | Sioux Falls, SD
At Epicosity, we're a full-service growth partner helping clients in higher education, financial services, and cause marketing build campaigns that drive real, measurable results. We're growing our media team — and we're looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Media Buyer/Planner to help us do it right.
This role sits at the intersection of art and science: part strategist, part negotiator, part analyst. You'll craft comprehensive media plans that move audiences across both traditional and digital channels — and you'll own the process from first brief to final post-campaign report.
What You'll Do:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement cross-channel media strategies that connect client campaigns with the right audiences at the right time
Use research data and audience insights to craft media plans that maximize impact within budget
Partner with the Strategy & Insights Team and Account Executives to align on goals, audience segmentation, budget, and timing
Campaign Execution
Build and manage comprehensive media plans spanning traditional channels (outdoor, radio, print, broadcast/cable TV) and digital channels (social, programmatic, search)
Handle media asset trafficking across platforms and coordinate with DSPs for programmatic buying
Collaborate with the Digital Media Specialist on tracking setup, tagging, dashboarding, and reporting to ensure seamless execution
Budget Management
Create and evaluate media plan options aligned to client objectives while maximizing ROI
Negotiate advertising rates and secure optimal placements through strong vendor relationships
Performance & Reporting
Analyze campaign performance, surface actionable insights, and recommend optimizations
Present post-campaign reports and develop case studies that highlight wins and support new business opportunities
Thought Leadership
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging media capabilities and bring those insights back to the team
Contribute to improving paid media processes for planning, management, and measurement
Pursue ongoing professional development, including platform certifications
