Two shifts available for recruitment.
Position # 010291
7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday with additional hours and weekends as needed, which will require mandatory overtime.

2:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Friday with additional hours and weekends as needed, which will require mandatory overtime.
These positions work outdoors in varying weather conditions and do require remaining on your feet for extended periods.
Primary Purpose of Position
Enforce parking policies and regulations on campus while acting as parking ambassador to the university community, answering general questions, providing directions and representing the department and University in a professional manner.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties
Patrol campus parking areas by vehicle and on foot to monitor compliance and enforce parking regulations, including issuing citations
Utilize handheld devices, license plate recognition (LPR) systems, and computer software to check authorizations and perform accurate data entry
Provide customer service as a campus ambassador by assisting with directions, information, and general inquiries
Communicate effectively using two-way radios and work independently while applying policies and sound judgment
Perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extended periods of walking/standing, while maintaining attention to detail
Other Work Responsibilities
Assist with traffic control and special event operations, including deployment of cones, barricades, signage, and revenue collection
Apply and remove vehicle immobilization devices, coordinate towing, and complete related documentation as required
Conduct routine audits of parking spaces, signage, and enforcement activity using manual methods and LPR systems
Operate and maintain departmental equipment and vehicles, including pre-trip inspections and cleanliness standards
Assist with training of new, temporary, or student employees and support additional operational needs as assigned
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Proficient in general computer use with the ability to learn industry-specific systems; experience with handheld devices and parking enforcement systems (e.g., AIMS, Genetec Patroller LPR) preferred; intermediate experience with MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, Gmail, and accurate data entry.
Experience with ticket writing, traffic control, and use of two-way radios (including 10-codes) preferred; familiarity with campus environments is a plus.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision; strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to apply policies and procedures accurately in the field.
Effective and efficient interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure; excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clear, concise interactions.
Experience and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, weekends as needed, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
