Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Nutrition Assistant at CHI St. Vincent, you will directly interact with patients and visitors daily. You will ensure dining areas are sanitized, well–stocked and food is appropriately prepared while ensuring the dining experience is hassle‑free for guests.
Serve patients, families and staff nutritious food that promotes health and healing
Set up trays for hospital patients following posted menu requests and taking individual likes and dislikes into account
Collect dirty trays and dishes, clean them in an automatic dishwasher, and return them to the proper storage areas
Ensure all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for the safety of employees, patients and guests
Exhibit high degree knowledge in food preparation and production
Accurately portion meals and beverages with attention to dietary restrictions
Support team members in all food services areas (cashier, stocking, cleaning, tray service, dishwashing, food storage)
Job Requirements

One (1) year of Food Service or Customer Service Experience
High School Graduate – General Studies
Preferred

Cashier experience
Pay Range

$15.00 – $19.65 /hour
