Senior Living Caregiver
6am - 2pm
Overview
Are you passionate about working with seniors? We are looking for compassionate, caring, responsible, and honest individuals to support residents at Truewood by Merrill, Georgetown. This role focuses on helping residents with daily living activities, medication management, and ensuring a dignified environment.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
Manage medication as allowed by state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily (or more often if needed).
Qualifications
Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain it.
CNA license or two years of previous experience as a caregiver.
Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
