Assignment Details
Acute care hospital setting within an Interventional Radiology unit located in the Imaging Department
Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as dialysis catheter placement, IVC filter, TIPS, CT‑guided biopsy, and various other interventional procedures — no pediatric patients
Average caseload of 2–4 cases per day
Equipment includes GE Innova, MedRad Injector, GE Logiq Book, and Angiojet
EMR: Cerner and RadNet
4x10‑hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Every other weekend (EOW) required, with rotational after‑hours call
Weekend call coverage spans Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM
First to float per facility policy
Holiday coverage via on‑call rotation
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required
ARRT (R) required; ARRT (VI) preferred
Active BLS certification required
Fluoroscopy permit required
BSN required
Active state license required at time of consideration — pending licenses will not be accepted
License required if applicable
A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
Unit is staffed with IR Technologists, IR RNs, Radiology Assistants as needed, and Transport, managed by a Director, Manager, Coordinator, and Lead
Two techs are scheduled 7:30 AM–4:00 PM supporting two campuses; one person covers on‑call nights and weekends
One IR radiologist supports three campuses
Teal scrubs required
Candidates who have been directly employed (full‑time, part‑time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible — candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
