Details
Work in a hospital‑based Interventional Radiology department with 4 IR rooms equipped with 2 single‑plane and 2 biplane Siemens C‑arms
Two IR techs are assigned per room — one circulates and one scrubs
Procedures include angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, central line insertions, and more
Patient population includes peripheral vascular, neurovascular, and interventional oncology cases
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
On‑call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend, starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
Cerner EMR — experience required
Requirements
Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
Proficiency in both peripheral vascular IR and neurovascular IR required
Skills must include scrubbing peripheral and neuro cases: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrostomy, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular and venous studies, and neurological studies
Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) and ARRT certification required
Cerner charting experience required
IN state license or Compact license required if applicable
Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

First‑time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted for this Allied/IR position
Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto‑approved
Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
