Interventional Radiology Technologist Travel Job

Salary: $2,942.26 - $3,142.26 /wk Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and assure quality of imaging equipment, monitor patients, and support procedural teams in a hospital setting. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references preferred. ARRT (R) certification required. Fluoroscopy credentialing required. BLS certification required. State radiologic technologist license for CA required. Experience working with Cerner and Radnet electronic charting systems preferred. Familiarity with GE Innova angiography systems, MedRad injectors, and angio devices preferred. Experience supporting average daily IR caseloads of 2-4 cases and working with adult patient populations required. No pediatric cases expected. Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including correctional-inmate patients, required. Ability to complete a 12-hour orientation and to float to support other hospital imaging campuses as needed. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Unit: Interventional Radiology. Shift: Days. 4x10s with every-other-weekend coverage. Schedule example: 7:30-4:00 rotational schedule with rotational after-hours call. Weekend/Call Requirements: Weekend coverage runs Friday 4:00 pm through Monday 7:30 am; rotational on-call and holiday on-call participation required. Orientation: 12 hours of unit-specific orientation on Imaging second floor. Charting System: Cerner (EMR) and Radnet. Workload: Average 2-4 cases per day. Kern River Parkway is within the city for riverside trails and fishing, and Sequoia National Park is approximately 90-100 miles to the east for hiking and giant sequoia groves, providing an adventurous lifestyle option. For weekend drives, the Kern River Canyon and Lake Isabella are about 40-60 miles away, supporting boating and fishing.
