Salary: $2,765.02 - $2,965.02 /wk Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Technologist and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and support of fluoroscopic and specialized neuro-interventional procedures. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of IR/Angio tech experience with references. Neuro-angiography experience required; experience beyond basic peripheral access, lines, or drains required. Certification and registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required. Cardiovascular-Interventional (RT(R)(CV)(ARRT)) or Vascular-Interventional (RT(R)(VI)(ARRT)) preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to direct patient care. ACLS preferred. Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations required. EPIC Electronic Health Record experience required. PACS experience preferred. Experience with Philips imaging systems preferred. Ability to perform contrast administration with power injector and assist with CT and ultrasound procedures as needed. Ability to work in a high-volume environment and adapt to variable staffing and procedural demand. State radiologic technologist license required. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with alternating day off. Call Requirements: Weekday call required and rotating weekend call (Fri-Sun) with a 30-minute response time. Call frequency varies with staffing and vacations. Case Volume: Approximately 10-15 cases per day. Procedural Scope: IR/Angio and neuro-interventional procedures. Occasional scrub in CT. Location Highlights Richmond, VA offers an accessible mix of urban and outdoor attractions. The James River Park System provides over 100 miles of trails and whitewater rapids within 5 miles of downtown, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is located in the Museum District about 1.5 miles from the city center. Richmond's Carytown retail and dining district is roughly 2 miles from the state capitol, offering independent shops and restaurants, and the city is approximately 100 miles south of Shenandoah National Park for weekend hiking and scenic Skyline Drive access. The city supports a blend of historic neighborhoods, a developing craft brewery scene, and transit options including local bus service and Richmond International Airport about 10 miles from downtown, suitable for both urban and active outdoor lifestyles. Additional Information Interview process includes an initial ITO interview and a second interview with the manager. Local candidates are accepted. RNs will not be considered for this role.
