Setting: Hospital; Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Unit: Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum with newborn care
Duration: Weeks (travel assignment)
On‑call: No; may require up to 1 call per pay period with 30‑minute callback
Floating: Yes; floats to other OB areas as needed
Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care across the LDRP unit, including labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
Circulate for C‑sections; perform sterile vaginal exams; triage obstetrical patients and manage ongoing labor progress
Monitor fetal status with wireless fetal monitoring; manage postpartum hemorrhage using JADA device; support PIH/NASS management
Chart Epic documentation; collaborate with physicians, other RNs, and support services; assist with newborn care and discharge planning
Float to other OB areas as needed; provide phone triage, IV starts, and clinical support when no LDRP patients are present
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and patient/family education; adhere to unit policies and protocols
Requirements
Licensure: Valid RN license in MT or Compact RN required at submission
Certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC, STABLE required
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience with LDRP/OB experience required
Education: RN degree; active license in listed state(s)
Additional: 50‑mile local radius requirement; two references covering a year within the last 3 years; ability to float to OB areas as needed
