Overview
Department: Dietary
Schedule: Fulltime - Variable Shift (5am-1:30pm or 12pm-8pm)
Facility: Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital
Location: Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
Assists with the day to day operations of the Food and Nutrition Department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. Performs the clerical support/duties necessary for optimal patient care, including safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department and compliance with policies and procedures. Performs a variety of patient and non-patient food service duties, including, but not limited to tasks related to patient tray service and tasks related to cafeteria and catering functions.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Training
Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current.
Two (2) years of experience in food service operations.
Ability to use PC.
County Specific requirement.
County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.
